The Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados will play host the opening round of the 2014 Global RallyCross season.
The event, which will be part of the Top Gear Festival taking place at the Caribbean venue, will be on the 17th and 18th of May later this year.
It will not only be the first time a GRC event has taken place in the Caribbean, but it will also mark Top Gear Live's first visit to The Americas.
In what has been described as 'a mind blowing event' by Top Gear Festival's chief operating officer James Cooke-Priest, the weekend will see the GRC races take place alongside shows featuring the Top Gear presenters
Two time GRC champion Tanner Foust, who co-hosts Top Gear in America is set to compete in the event although his 2014 plans are yet to be confirmed. He is expected to Join Andretti Autosport who will be campaigning Volkswagen Polos in what will be their first season in GRC.
His former team, Olsbergs MSE, recently announced Patrik Sandell and Joni Wiman as their drivers for the upcoming GRC season, with no mention of Foust.
