Citroen Racing have confirmed that they will enter the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) from the 2014 season. The widely expected announcement comes after the French marque began evaluating a possible move into the series last September.

Martin Truex Jr. ended a 218 race winless streak in style on Sunday with a dominant victory in the Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma in California.
James Hinchcliffe gave a master class at Iowa as he took the first oval win of his career. The Canadian took the lead on lap one and never looked back.
Audi claimed their 12th victory of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a dominating performance from the manufacturer that saw Tom Kristensen claim his record ninth win. He shared the #2 Audi R18 e-tron Quattro with Allan McNish and Loic Duval who won for the third and first time respectively.

Ryan Hunter-Reay claimed his second consecutive win at the Milwaukee after a dominant late race display that saw him see off the Penske cars of Helio Castroneves and Will Power. It was a strong race for the Andretti team despite problems for Marco Andretti, with three of the teams four cars finishing in the top five.

Phoenix Racing are likely to close it's doors for good after team owner James Finch revealed that he will be done with racing after this summer.
Arizona's Ricky Vendl is aiming to make history next year by becoming the oldest rookie driver to start the Indianapolis 500.
Porsche has rolled out the car they will compete in the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans in Weissach this week. Factory driver Timo Bernhard was the driver as the new LMP1 took to Porsche's test track for it's first run.

Helio Castroneves finally secured Penske's first win of the 2013 season with a dominant display at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday. The Brazilian led 132 out of 228 laps, beating Ryan Hunter-Reay to the checkered flag by over four and a half seconds.

Simon Pagenaud claimed his first IndyCar series win after beating James Jakes and Mike Conway to the Checkered flag in Race 2 of the Duals in Detroit.

Mike Conway won the first Dual in Detroit race after dominating from the start. Ryan Hunter-Reay finished in second place, his second runner up spot in as many races.
Since the revelation at last week's Monaco Grand Prix that Mercedes had carried out testing following the Spanish Grand Prix, a lot had been said about whether it was within the rules or not. Pirelli and Mercedes argued that they were well within their right to, rivals however disagreed, believing they had broken Article 22.4, which states that in season testing of a current car is forbidden.
