Andretti Autosport have revealed their driver lineup and their cars for the 2014 Global RallyCross season after previously signaling their intention to join one of the fastest growing series in the United States.
The championship open-wheel squad have signed 2011 and 2012 GRC champion Tanner foust as well as Former Formula One and NASCAR driver Scott Speed to race for them this season.
They will initially campaign Volkswagen Polos based on the German marque's triumphant WRC car before switching to bespoke VW Beetles in time for X-Games Austin.
Foust, who moves over from the experienced Olsbergs MSE squad seemed optimistic about the upcoming season when speaking to the GRC official website.

lessons learned from the championship-winning Volkswagen World Rally
team. It’s going to be competitive from the get-go." he said. "the new Rockstar Energy Drink Beetle is going to be amazing."
Speed, who won on his GRC debut in Brazil last year, had equally high expectations.
"Our expectations are high!" he said. "We understand the challenges in front of us,
but also there’s the fact that I love the chance to go out and do it,
and start working towards that."
Also today, Subaru of America confirmed their 2014 GRC plans. They will run three-time European Rallycross Champion Sverre Isachsen as well as skateboarding legend
Bucky Lasek. travis Pastrana will also make a one off appearance for the team at X-Games Austin.
