Andretti Autosport have confirmed that they will campaign Volkswagens in this years Global RallyCross season.
Team boss Michael Andretti, who operation also competes in IndyCar, Indy Lights, Pro Mazda and also Formula E from 2014, made the announcement through a statement released by the team.
"We are excited to confirm our intent to compete with Volkswagen in
Global Rallycross events, and look forward to sharing more details at a
later date,” said the statement.
Also this week, Andretti Autosport revealed their IndyCar plans.
Whilst Ryan Hunter-Reay will continue with DHL sponsorship, James Hinchcliffe will sport the colours of United Fiber & Data whilst Snapple will replace RC Cola on Marco Andretti's 25 car.
Carlos Munoz meanwhile will move from the team's Indy Lights program taking the place of EJ Viso. The Colombian made an instant impact on his Indianapolis 500 debut last season finishing second.
