Porsche carried on from their victory in the final round of the 2014 World Endurance Champion ship by sweeping the front row in qualifying for the 6 Hours of Silverstone.
After practice was dominated by Audi Timo Bernhard, Mark Webber and Brendon Hartley took the pole ahead of fellow Porsche runners Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb with a time of 1m 39.721s.
The number eight Audi beat the reigning champion Toyota to third while despite Andre Lotterer's great late efforts the other Audi could only manage fifth, ahead of the second Toyota.
G-Drive's Ricardo Gonzalez, Gustavo Yacaman and Pipo Derani took LMP2 pole, ahead of the other G-Drive car with KCMG and Signatech Alpine taking third and fourth respectively - completing the overall top ten. Privateer LMP1 entrant ByKolles could only manage 11th overall - in amongst the P2 runners.
Aston Martin took a clean sweep of GT poles. The British manufacturer took the top three GTEPro positions and pole in GTEAm. The sole Chevrolet Corvette entry of Labre Competition took second in GTEAm with Abu Dhabi Proton Racing's Porsche in third.
