John Force Racing teams up with Chevrolet for 2015

18-time NHRA Funny Car champions John Force Racing have they will run Chevrolet branding on their fleet of Funny Cars and their Top Fuel Dragster for the upcoming season.

Force, a 16-time champion in his own right, started his career with Chevrolet and returns to running the Bowtie after nearly two decades campaigning Fords.

The 65-year old, will again be teamed with daughter Courtney and son-in-law Robert Hight, who will also run Chevrolets, as will another of Force's daughters, Brittany, who will carry the General Motors brand on her Top Fuel Dragster.

Following Ford's withdrawal from NHRA competition, JFR were believed to have spoken to Dodge and Toyota before signing with Chevrolet. As the only team running Chevrolets in 2015, JFR will be effectively a works team for the GM subsidiary.

The announcement of JFR and Chevrolet's partnership comes after Peak Anti-Freeze was announced in November as John Force's new primary sponsor. Peak takes over from Castrol Edge who, like Ford, ended their long term partnership with JFR at the conclusion of the 2014 season.
