Detroit hosted the first double header of the 2013 IZOD IndyCar season, with two action packed races and two different winners.
Race one ended with Mike Conway in first place after dominating from the
start. Ryan Hunter-Reay finished in second place, with Justin Wilson in third. Scott Dixon
battled back from his early collision with AJ Allmendinger to finish
fourth, Helio Castroneves finished fifth.

Mike Conway started on pole for race two and led through the drama filled early stages. ultimatley it was Simon Pagenaud who took the win with James Jakes in second and Conway third. Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti rounded out the top five.
