2012 WTCC champion has joined series newcomers Munnich Motorsport for the 2013 season. The Brit, left without a drive after Chevrolet withdrew their factory support will take the seat previously earmarked for former F1 driver Markus Winkelhock.

Jimmie Johnson kicks off with a win - Daytona 500 Review
Jimmie Johnson got his 2013 season off to the best possible start by winning the 55th annual Daytona 500.
The Hendrick Motorsports driver, who has suffered a poor run of luck in the 500 since first winning the event in 2006, held off team mate Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the win. as a result, Junior claimed his third second placed finish out of the last four Daytona 500s. Veteran Mark Martin, 2012 champion Brad Keselowski and 2008 winner Ryan Newman rounded out the top five. Running second and third going into the final lap, Roush's Greg Biffle and Stewart-Haas' Danica Patrick dropped back towards the end as Martin and Earnhardt Jr. surged forward.

Danica Patrick makes history at Daytona
Danica Patrick made history yesterday (17th February) by becoming not only the first woman to claim pole position for the Daytona 500, but becoming the first woman ever to claim pole position for any NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event.

Interview with Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver Davide Rigon
Currently racing GT cars for the Italian marque, Davide Rigon is the only two time champion of the Superleague formula series in addition to also racing in Formula Renault and Formula 3 earlier in his career. Alongside his racing exploits, Rigon devotes time to the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team where he develops their racing cars both on track and in the Simulator.
